I'M ERIC
I'm Eric, a software engineer, cloud enthusiast, AI nerd, and a guy on a journey to help 1 million individuals learn software engineering. Why? Because I remember the frustrations I experienced when I was beginning my journey into software engineering.
I read countless books and took I-don’t-even-know-how-many online courses. The struggle was real.
Then one day, it all finally clicked.
My goal is to make it click for you.
MY STORY
Since I was a little kid, technology has been my passion. That passion reached the next level at the age of 13, when I convinced my parents to buy me my first computer. Even then, my young teenage mind swirled with dreams of building software that would change the world.
By the time I graduated college, however, I found myself interested in academics and becoming a college professor. Then life happened, and my tech passion took hold once again as I started building software and products for a living. I’ve always loved teaching and helping others though, so I thought…
What if I combined my passion for software and technology with my love of teaching and helping others?
And here I am, helping others become the best software engineers they can be and loving every minute of it.
Teaching
During the pandemic in 2020, I started creating online courses on Udemy. It started slowly, but I eventually gained some traction. Once I began releasing online courses, my life changed.
To date, I have taught more than 100,000 software engineers of all skill levels and can't think of anything else I’d rather do. I learn just as much as my students do, which is why I keep on teaching. There’s nothing better than meeting new students, learning about where they currently are, and helping them get where they want to go.
